Team Leadership and Coaching

Head Coach: Stephanie White returns for her third season with the Fever, aiming to build upon the team's recent playoff appearance and further develop their competitive edge. 

General Manager: Amber Cox has orchestrated significant roster changes, focusing on enhancing defensive capabilities and bringing in veteran leadership to complement the team's young talent. 

Key Roster Additions

DeWanna Bonner: The six-time All-Star joined the Fever in February 2025 and made an immediate impact by becoming the third all-time leading scorer in WNBA history during her season debut on May 17. 

Natasha Howard: A seasoned forward known for her defensive prowess, Howard adds experience and versatility to the Fever's frontcourt.

Caitlin Clark: Entering her sophomore season, Clark has undergone a rigorous offseason training regimen, enhancing her physicality and readiness for the season's challenges. 

Rookie Influx

The Fever bolstered their roster through the 2025 WNBA Draft by selecting:

Makayla Timpson: A 6-foot-2 forward from Florida State, Timpson is celebrated for her rebounding and shot-blocking abilities. 

Yvonne Ejim: A 6-foot-2 guard from Gonzaga, Ejim brings defensive acumen and international experience to the team.

Bree Hall: A versatile player capable of contributing across multiple positions, Hall adds depth to the Fever's lineup.

Firefighters Battle Three Blazes East of Los Angeles

  Two of the three fires in Riverside County were only 30 percent contained. An evacuation order affecting about 5,000 residents was lifted on Monday night. Juniper fire Firefighters in Riverside County, east of Los Angeles, were battling three fires early on Tuesday morning, even after the authorities lifted an evacuation order for thousands of residents. The blaze that prompted the order, the Juniper fire, began just before 11:30 a.m. on Monday and swiftly burned almost 700 acres, according to Cal Fire, the state’s firefighting agency. The order was issued in the afternoon and affected just over 5,000 residents, based on a New York Times analysis of the evacuation zones and LandScan population data. The order was lifted shortly before 9 p.m. by Cal Fire. But only 30 percent of the fire, which was burning in an unincorporated area about 70 miles southeast of central Los Angeles, had been contained.
